My father has battled with Parkinson’s for nearly thirty years. I have seen first-hand the negative impact Parkinson’s can have. I am funding this trip myself, so all money raised will go to Parkinson’s UK. This Money will be used to support the promising work towards finding a cure.
I enjoy training for and taking part in running, cycling, duathlon, and triathlon races. I’m always looking for new interesting challenges, especially if it can also somehow help other people. I have often thought about cycling back to my home town, so I came up with this idea of raising awareness of Parkinson’s and money at the same time.
